Q:
What should I wear for the class?
A:
Something loose and comfortable. No socks during the
class. May be a blanket or shawl for relaxation at the
end.
Q:
What should I bring?
A:
Mats and props are available to borrow, but please bring
your own mat or any other props if you can.
Q:
What if I think I am too much of a beginner and not
flexable enough to join the class?
A:
Well, thats exactly what a yoga class is for, and also
I must emphasise that yoga is not a competition. We
all have a different body and so we work on our own
level. Be patient and in time you will appreciate how
strength and felixability improves through regular practice.
Q:
What if I have specific health issue?
A:
A general health questionnaire is given so that I'm
aware of any particular problem and modified postures
will be given instead. Yoga can also be used as a therapeutic
method to help and alleviate certain health problems.
Q:
Can I eat before the class?
A:
Try not to eat a full meal at least 1.5 - 2 hr before
the class, this is because a lot of the yoga postures
are working on the digestive system, so it is not beneficial
and also uncomfortable if one has a full stomach. If
you need to eat, just a simple snack or a piece of fruit.
